1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Pehchan (the "Service," "we," "our," or "us"), operated under the registered domain pehchan.me. By creating an account, logging in via Google OAuth, purchasing any subscription, or accessing any premium feature of the Pehchan applications or web interface, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you are prohibited from using the Service.
2. User Accounts & Google Authentication
To use our identity aggregation services, you must sign in securely using Google OAuth. By logging in, you represent and warrant that the Google Account is your own and that all information imported is truthful. You are solely responsible for all activities occurring under your Pehchan account.
3. Paid Subscriptions and Billing
We offer premium subscription tiers (PRO and BUSINESS) providing advanced analytics, customizable branding, audio bio uploads, and lead generation capabilities. Subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual auto-renewing basis.
- Google Play / Apple App Store: Purchased via our mobile apps, payment charged to your App Store/Play Store account. Auto-renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- International Checkout (Paddle): For users outside India, your merchant of record is Paddle.com Market Ltd, handling international billing and tax compliance.
- Domestic Checkout (Razorpay): For users inside India, transactions are processed securely through Razorpay Software Private Limited.
4. Content and Acceptable Use
You retain all intellectual property rights to any content you upload. By uploading content, you grant Pehchan a license to host and display this content solely to render your public profile page. We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend accounts that upload material containing explicit adult content, copyright infringement, hate speech, or harassment.

1. Our Commitment to Your Privacy
At Pehchan, we believe your digital identity is yours to own and control. This Privacy Policy outlines our transparent data practices across our applications and web portal, in compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and India's DPDP Act 2023.

- Google Profile Data: Verified Gmail address, display name, and avatar URL.
- Account Credentials: Unique username, contact phone number, and social links.
- Profile Content: Images, banners, or recorded audio bios you actively upload.
3. Third-Party Data Disclosures
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We securely transmit specific details to trusted infrastructure partners to operate our service:
- Payment Gateways (Paddle & Razorpay): Handled securely by our Merchant of Record partners. Pehchan does not store your credit card numbers.
- App Performance (RevenueCat): Utilized to track and restore native mobile subscriptions securely.
4. Your Rights and Data Deletion
You have the right to request the complete and permanent deletion of your data, Firebase records, and uploaded media by contacting our privacy team at [email protected].
Trademark & Intellectual Property Rights
Official notice regarding the ownership of the Pehchan brand, logo, and platform assets.
1. Ownership of Brand and Assets
All content, features, graphical assets, user interface designs, source code, visual branding, domain names (pehchan.me), trade names, graphics, and logos associated with Pehchan are the exclusive intellectual property of the platform operators and creators. These assets are protected under international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
2. Common-Law Trademark Rights & Protection
Even prior to the issuance of formal federal or regional trademark registration certificates, Pehchan™ and the stylized "P" logo claim full proprietary common-law trademark and trade dress rights in the name, brand identity, and commercial presentation of the service. Unauthorised use of our name, logo, or confusingly similar variations thereof in commerce is strictly prohibited.
3. Restrictions on Use
You are explicitly prohibited from doing any of the following without prior written consent from Pehchan management:
- Copying, reproducing, modifying, distributing, or republishing the Pehchan logo, brand identity, or UI design elements.
- Using the "Pehchan" name, domain, or logo on any competing software, product, mobile application, or website in a manner that creates consumer confusion or implies endorsement.
- Framing or utilizing proprietary framing techniques to enclose any trademark, logo, or other proprietary information (including images, text, or page layouts) of Pehchan.
4. Reporting Trademark Infringement & Abuse
Pehchan actively protects its intellectual property rights against infringement, passing off, or unfair competition. If you discover any unauthorized use of the Pehchan brand, replica applications, or fraudulent websites attempting to impersonate our service, please notify our legal and compliance department immediately at:

1. Cloud Infrastructure
Pehchan is built on top of secure, industry-leading infrastructure. Your authentication states, profile settings, and data logs are securely housed within Google Firebase. We utilize Firestore's strict security rules to ensure data is only readable/writable by authorized users.
2. Media Storage & Delivery
Any media you upload—such as profile images, banners, and audio files—is stored in highly secure, private object storage on Cloudflare R2. It is distributed globally through Cloudflare's edge CDN, meaning your files benefit from enterprise-grade DDoS protection, TLS 1.3 encryption, and global redundancy.
3. Payment Security
We process zero payment data directly. All transactions are tokenized and processed by our highly regulated Merchant of Records: Paddle (Global) and Razorpay (India). We do not store, log, or have access to your credit card numbers, CVV codes, or banking passwords.
4. Authentication Security
By exclusively using Google OAuth 2.0 for account creation and login, we eliminate the risks associated with password breaches. We do not store passwords, meaning credential-stuffing attacks against Pehchan are impossible.
Refund Policy

1. Subscription Cancellations
Pehchan subscriptions (PRO and BUSINESS) are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel, your premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle. After the cycle concludes, your account will safely downgrade to the Free tier without deleting your historical data.
2. Web Purchases (Paddle & Razorpay)
For subscriptions purchased directly through our website via Paddle or Razorpay:
- We generally do not provide refunds or credits for partial months or years of service.
- Exceptions may be made within the first 7 days of an initial purchase if you find the service does not meet your expectations. To request an evaluation refund, contact [email protected].
3. Mobile App Purchases (App Store & Google Play)
If you purchased your subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, Pehchan does not have the ability to process refunds directly. These transactions are strictly governed by the policies of Apple and Google.
- iOS Users: You must request a refund directly from Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Android Users: You must request a refund through your Google Play Account settings or contact Google Support.

We strive to reply to all inquiries within 24 to 48 business hours. Priority support routing is automatically applied to active PRO and BUSINESS tier subscribers based on the email address associated with the account.
3. Account Recovery & Access
Because Pehchan utilizes Google Authentication, we cannot manually reset your password. If you lose access to your Google account, you must follow Google's official account recovery procedures. Once access is restored to your Google account, you will instantly regain access to your Pehchan profile.

To report a profile that is impersonating you, distributing malware, or violating our Terms of Service, please email [email protected] with the public URL of the offending profile and a description of the violation.
